Ms. Thompson is an experienced recruitment/community-outreach manager in the UAB Division of Preventive Medicines Recruitment and Retention Shared Facility: "A Facility Designed To Reach People." She has established very strong connections to Alabama communities and organizations. Ms. Thompson has put in place several advisory boards that are actively engaged in assisting the UAB in its efforts to engage the community. She has served as the Recruitment Coordinator for several large national clinical trials. Ms Thompson has over 17 years of experience in reaching and motivating people. She is committed to assisting UAB researchers and other interested parties in their outreach efforts to enhance community empowerment and participation in health program, thereby contributing to their efforts to reduce health disparities and build healthier communities.
